About the event
Join us in welcoming poet and author Wendy Pratt to the Book Tree. We very much look forward to discussing her newly published book.
We’ll be in conversation with Wendy about The Ghost Lake, her tender and lyrical memoir of grief, nature and ancestry in rural Yorkshire.
The Ghost Lake intertwines nature writing with a deeply personal pilgrimage, weaving in an exploration of belonging, changing landscapes, and our collective past.
Wendy is an award winning poet and author or five poetry collections. Poetry seeps into the beautiful writing in The Ghost Lake, which in early draft form was longlisted for the 2021 Nan Shepherd Prize.
